The heart of the brand Melon is the dialogue with global cultures and markets, where Melon is delivered to. On Eurobike 2013 Melon presented the first country collection of “The arts of Cultures” - program partner of this year is the artist agency Partizan from Budapest, Hungary.The Partizan Art Studios and Gallery offer studios for Hungarian and foreign artists. In exchange for the ateliers they don’t ask for money, the artists offer some of their pieces of art instead. Partizan also provides a lot of know-how in organizing exhibitions, happenings and projects. “Or vision is to provide a community place for outstanding artists in an inspiring environment, where the artists can help and support each other, where they can work in a motivating and carefree atmosphere”, so they say. A crash helmet is protective gear, a fashion item and a work of art at the same time. Underneath the helmet there is a personality, memories and creative ideas, which suddenly all have come to surface by the artists sending out their messages through there work. “Arts and function with an all day product turns it into a fashion accessory and collector’s item.” Michal Cervenka, Co-Founder of Melon. All target markets are invited to take part in creating a global profile of design tendencies and trends of different cultures during the next years.
